Sindh govt extends Eid ul Adha holidays until Monday

The Sindh authorities on Friday introduced it’s extending public holidays for Eid ul Adha by a day, until Monday.

The federal authorities had introduced a three-day vacation from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, August 2.

According to a notification by the providers division, throughout Sindh, Monday, August 3, will even be noticed as a vacation.

It comes after Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rahman, on Wednesday mentioned that Prime Minister Imran Khan ought to declare the third day of Eid ul Adha a vacation as it’s historically a three-day celebration.
