Zayn Malik doesn’t appear to chill down as he doubled down on his criticism of the Grammys after calling the Recording Academy out on Twitter final week.
The previous One Course star, in his first tweet on Tuesday (March 9), blamed the Recording Academy of not contemplating artists “unless you shake hands and send gifts”.
Gigi Hadid’s sweetheart repeated his phrases on Sunday, forward of the ceremony, and wrote:”@recordingacad are transferring in inches and we have to transfer in miles,” he tweeted. “I’m retaining the stress on & preventing for transparency & inclusion.
“We need to make sure we are honoring and celebrating “creative excellence” of ALL. Finish the key committees. Till then … #thegrammys.”
The star, after his first tweet, clarified that he was not slamming the Grammys for private causes, however due to “the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favoritism, racism, and netwokring politics to influence the voting process”.
Fiona Apple, Megan Thee Stallion, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Girl Gaga, Ariana Grande, Kanye West are among the many winners.
Zayn Malik shouldn’t be the one star to lash out on the Recording Academy currently. The Weeknd has mentioned he’ll not enable his label to submit his music for consideration on the Grammys after he was snubbed for his album ‘After Hours’. Justin Bieber can be not attending the ceremony this 12 months after his album ‘Changes’ was nominated within the pop classes. He mentioned he wished it thought-about as an R&B album.
