ISLAMABAD: The political ambiance of the nation rose additional when the PML-N leaders and PTI staff clashed exterior the Parliament Home and a shoe was thrown at former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal.
The PML-N leaders have been addressing the media when the PTI staff surrounded them after which the scenario turned ugly and the clashes erupted between them.
A shoe was thrown at PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal as he stood on a platform together with Murtaza Javed Abbasi and shouted slogans criticising the PTI authorities.
Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Musaddiq Malik, Miftah Ismail, Ahsan Iqbal and Marriyum Aurangzeb criticised the PTI authorities and Prime Minister Imran Khan, calling him a ‘fascist’ and evaluating him to Hitler.
In the meantime, PTI supporters carrying pro-Imran banners circled the PML-N leaders and began elevating slogans loudly in an try to suppress their voice.
The scenario turned ugly when the politicians and the PTI supporters began pushing one another and exchanging scorching phrases.
TV footage confirmed Musaddiq Malik being hit from behind, following which him and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi chased down the person who pushed them to ship some retaliatory blows.
A Peshawari chappal was thrown at Ahsan Iqbal as he stood on a platform and shouted slogans criticising the federal government.
Police, in the meantime, was nowhere to be seen.
Later, the PML-N leaders reassembled and blamed the federal government for the scenario.
Ahsan Iqbal mentioned that the ‘politics of fascism’ wouldn’t be allowed and the PML-N would contest the federal government at each discussion board.
“Today’s National Assembly session is illegal, unethical and unconstitutional,” mentioned Khaqan Abbasi, including he too won’t again down.
Safety arrived later to interrupt up the scuffles and shaped a human wall, separating the protesters from the PML-N leaders.
