Three killed after thread factory in Karachi's Baldia catches fire

KARACHI: Three labourers misplaced their lives after a fireplace broke out in  a thread manufacturing unit in Baldia City, Karachi Thursday.

Rescue officers say the blaze began  on the third flooring after which unfold to the remainder of the manufacturing unit.

The blaze has now been extinguished. It too 5 hours, a snorkel and 4 hearth brigade automobiles to do the job.

Chief hearth officer Mobin Ahmed mentioned there was no emergency exit within the manufacturing unit and the home windows had been closed with iron bars.

The deceased  had been recognized as Ali Sher, Mohammad Kazim and Fayyaz. Their our bodies had been recovered from the third flooring.

Rescue officers mentioned a firefighter sustained minor head accidents whereas extinguishing the blaze.

The manufacturing unit proprietor says the hearth brigade arrived late, inflicting lack of life and property.

After the incident, Sindh minister Sohail Anwar Siyal reached the scene and spoke to the media. He mentioned the hearth was brought on by a short-circuit.
