Saudi Arabis's King Salman gets coronavirus vaccine shot

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud acquired his first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, Saudi Press Agency reported Friday.

A video shared by SPA exhibits medical workers giving King Salman, 85, the vaccine within the Saudi metropolis of Neom. 

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of protection of Saudi Arabia received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in December final 12 months.

On December 17, Saudi Arabia started the biggest vaccination marketing campaign towards COVID-19, with Minister of Health Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah changing into the primary citizen to obtain the vaccine.
