Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin has been jailed for 10 months for assualting a girl sexually, on Tuesday.
Simon Bowes-Lyon, the Earl of Strathmore, confessed he made advances in direction of a 26-year-old lady in February 2020 on the royal household’s ancestral fort.
The incident occurred in a bed room at Glamis Citadel, which was the childhood house of the Queen’s late mom, Web page Six reported.

BBC reported that the assault concerned the Queen’s cousin coming into the sufferer’s room uninvited and groping her whereas making an attempt to drag off her nightdress,
In his confessional assertion, Bowes-Lyon confessed to the crime saying he’s “greatly ashamed of my actions which have caused such distress to a guest in my home.”
“I did not think I was capable of behaving the way I did but have had to face up to it and take responsibility,” he stated.
