Canadian rapper Drake had left his followers involved after social media was full of tweets about his demise hoax.
While many different celebrities have fallen prey to demise hoaxes up to now, this time it was the Views hit maker who made headlines over false tweets.
‘#RIPDrake’ grew to become one of many high trending subjects on Twitter as followers expressed their concern for the rapper, regardless of Twitter including a disclaimer that he was, in reality, alive.
“Bruh, can we stop making things like this trending. This is 2020, we have to stop playing this game. #RIPdrake,” mentioned one fan.
“Whoever created the #ripdrake gotta go, bc I’m freaking out trying to figure out if they [expletive] or if this man is really gone,” mentioned one other.
“This hashtag almost gave me a heart attack,” wrote one other involved fan.
