ISLAMABAD: The Nationwide Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday urged all frontline healthcare employees to register for the coronavirus vaccine.
In a press release, the NCOC chief made it clear that healthcare employees had been the highest precedence for the federal government.
He mentioned that the federal government will take each step to make sure it protects healthcare employees throughout the nation.
Based on the NCOC, 32,860 frontline healthcare employees have been administered doses of the coronavirus vaccines. In Punjab, the variety of frontline healthcare employees vaccinated stand at 15,494 whereas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,639 healthcare employees have been given the vaccine doses.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 1,013 healthcare employees have been inoculated whereas in Azad Kashmir, 651 healthcare employees and in Islamabad, 859 have been supplied the vaccine.
In Balochistan, the variety of healthcare employees who’ve been vaccinated stands at 252, in line with the NCOC.
