The Federal Minister for Planning, Improvement, and Particular Initiatives Asad Umar on Friday reportedly expressed his anger with the mismanagement of the cabin crew when his seat was allotted to a different passenger on a Karachi-bound flight from Islamabad.
In response to Geo.tv, Asad Umar, together with different members of the parliament, have been on board Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) flight PK 309 when the minister discovered that one other passenger had occupied his seat.
The minister reportedly acquired into an argument with the cabin crew, telling them that he paid cash to buy a ticket, subsequently, it’s his proper to take a seat on his personal seat.
“[It’s unfair that] I have purchased a ticket for this seat, but someone else is sitting there,” the minister mentioned, as per sources. “This [mismanagement] has been going on for about an hour. I bought the ticket, paid for it.”
On account of the mismanagement, the flight was delayed by an hour.
The minister was allotted seat quantity 12F, sources mentioned, including that a number of different members of the parliament have been accompanying him throughout the flight.
Federal Minister Aminul Haq, PPP’s Agha Rafiullah, Qadir Patel, and different meeting members have been reportedly among the many parliamentarians current on-board.
