Billy Joel aka ‘Piano Man’ mesmerizes passersby with a discarded piano on a sidewalk

Legendary musician Billy Joel placed on an impromptu present for passersby in Long Island, New York by taking part in a discarded piano on the sidewalk.

The 71-year-old, recognized amongst followers because the “Piano Man” owing to his 1978-hit, gathered up a crowd on the sidewalk as seen within the viral clip the place he mesmerizes the bystanders together with his the instrument that was left deserted.

“It’s a superbly good piano. It’s a disgrace to throw it out,” he says, suggesting or not it’s donated to Society of St. Vincent de Paul thrift retailer.

“They’d probably take it. These are laminated keys, the pedals work, the action is great … The mechanics are perfect!” he says in video whereas inspecting the piano.
